Sacred Ceremony in Psychedelic Therapy:
Utilizing Prayer, Ritual, & Healing Song

Learn about working with psychedelic-assisted therapy in the context of sacred ceremony with experienced facilitators, Rutury Temay (Wixarika [Huichol] medicine person) and Claudia Cuentas (Peruvian [Aymara and Quechua lineages] therapist, artist, & educator) in conversation with Dr. Joe Tafur.

In the morning and afternoon sessions, our speakers will each present on a number of topics, drawing upon their practical experience and extensive training. These sessions will each be followed by interactive dialogue and discussion moderated by our panel.

Presented topics will include:

• Ancestral healing

• Healing with the land

• Sacred elements

• Music & Song in Ceremony

• Sound and healing in the 3 bodies: physical; mental/psychological/emotional; spiritual

• Health and Healing from an indigenous and western perspective

• Altar making to prepare the space for healing

Workshops are offered online via Zoom. They are designed to be attended live as the learning is both experiential and interactive. Recordings will be available for those who register but attendees are encouraged to attend live, if possible, to receive the most from the experience. There are no prerequisites for this workshop and everyone is welcome.
