Colombia Retreat 2025
Sacred Ceremony in Psychedelic Therapy
(Applications are now open)
An experiential Ayahuasca & Yopo Retreat for Healthcare Providers.
Location: Sasaima, Colombia (Meeting point Bogotá)
We are excited to offer a new retreat in Colombia, which will once again focus on bringing together practitioners entering the field of psychedelic assisted therapy and deepen their experience of sacred ceremony. Our focus lies in integrating ancestral techniques into contemporary psychotherapeutic approaches and exploring how psychedelic medicines can help unlock our innate spiritual capacity, natural healing intelligence, and various energetic gifts.

Additionally, the retreat includes a one-day Yopo ceremony led by Jose Bravo (trained in the Sikuani lineage) and daily yoga and mindfulness with Cesar Ladino at a beautiful retreat location, the Jardín del Agua. What past participants are saying:

“I believe a retreat like this, an experience like this, is meant to help address the vicarious trauma and moral injury of healthcare professionals in the United States; especially being far away from day to day life, together with other physicians, healthcare professionals and a supportive staff. This creates the ideal set, setting and container to help heal us from within, find "connection", a "sense of community", "togetherness", "feeling "whole" again and feeling "plugged in". It restores the desire to reconnect with community, family, and our patients as we rediscover (self)love and the appreciation for all living creatures, which improves our collective quality of life.”

I am forever grateful for the healing medicine of Ayahuasca, the Colombian land, sacred plant teachings, curanderos and profound metamorphosis I experienced. I was able to release deeply rooted and heavy energy that was been with me my whole life. It was not easy, but I was able to be held and supported in a manner that allowed such a release and cleanse. It was purely divine and transformative. I left Colombia with an open heart and new sense of being. I am filled with joy, grace, creativity and a love that cannot be explained but only felt with my heart and soul. Forever grateful to be part of the Church of the Eagle & Condor and such a beautiful community. Thank you to the Creator for my life. Thank you Dr. Joe, Cvita, Xochi and to Kewal for making magic happen on this Earth and in my life. Abundant Blessings to you and yours. Always. A'Ho.

This retreat provided a safe space to work out some tough issues that had been causing me suffering for most of my life. It inspired me to make changes in my attitude at work that I predict will help me be more effective and more supportive of others. I was surrounded by kindness during my journeys.

“The retreat was so much more than just a chance to sit with plant medicine, it was a deep immersion into the local culture, their traditions and beliefs, and a simpler way of living. This created a depth to the week that I don’t think we would have gotten elsewhere.”

A wonderful experience in every sense - the wide ranging ceremonies (sweat lodge, multiple ayahuasca, and yopo), the setting, the shamans, and the kind and accommodating staff at the retreat facility - all top notch. I gained a lot of critical perspectives and insights!
