The Shipibo Medicinal Plant Research Project

Preserving the "Living Pharmacy" of the Amazon with Science and Spirit

At Modern Spirit, we are honored to support the groundbreaking work of Ing. Samuel Cauper Pinedo (Ino Nima), a leader who embodies the union of ancestral wisdom and modern academic rigor. His project, "Preservation of Ancestral Knowledge of Indigenous Shipibo Medicine," is not just a study—it is a vital effort to document, map, and protect the medicinal biodiversity of the Ucayali region before it is lost.
